O2Micro Receives Patent For Advanced Power Management in a PCI Host Controller

GEORGE TOWN, Grand Cayman, Dec. 18, 2006 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- O2Micro(r) International Limited (NASDAQ:OIIM - News) (HKSE:0457.HK - News), a leading supplier of innovative power management, and security components and systems, was issued 30 claims under United States patent number 7,120,807 for its PCI Host Controller with Advanced Power Management Reset invention.

This PCI Host Controller supports advanced power management specifications without requiring additional pin out arrangement or reassignment of pin functionality. This enables implementation of this invention in current computer systems without retooling or re-layout of the system board circuitry.
